The number of identity theft related crimes is increasing over the previous year. Especially, fraudsters defraud the victims by obtaining their card details. It is the most common way for them to steal personal identity and trade under its credit and name. Besides, many corporate companies also affected from this crime. Normally, the sectors are most likely related in communications, banking, finance and insurance.

In fact, we should be alert and pay more concerns for our personal identity in order to prevent our intimate data being revealed and abused by someone. That is, we should be aware of our surroundings when divulging sensitive financial information.

Some sort of scam will be happened in our daily life such as a strange call require us to give any confidential or detail information. We should be avoid giving them the specific details included the banking detail when using a mobile phone. provided immediately.

Apart from that, we should not tell anyone our security details and never ever write them down. Change your security information immediately if you suspect anyone else may have gained access to it.

There are only some guidelines to protect our personal identity. For business, they should improve IT security system regularly in order to avoid the identity theft. The internal control for database of consumer details is very important in companies to prevent a security lapse happen. Otherwise, the companies will loss of public confident from their consumers.
